Hi, Mindi

Just sending a couple of recent pictures of Edith. As you can see, she is so beautiful. She is a very loving and, at times, comical dog! She is the perfect dog for our family. We have moved and now have a large fenced-in back yard which she loves. We live on a cul-de-sac with lots of kids to her and Jack Henry’s delight!

We got so busy with the move this winter, that we have not done any more formal training but we practice the skills we know with her and are now working on fun tricks like “shake” and “roll over.”

Hope all is well with your family and, of course your lovely labradoodles. Can’t believe her first birthday is next month!

Mindi,

I just wanted to give you an update on Scout. She is a absolutely a blessing – love her.

She has adapted well to my home and loves going to Doggy Day Camp. They keep telling me they are going to steal her from me.

She is so outgoing – loves people and other dogs.

Still working on getting her fully potty trained. At the moment she has me trained to take her outside at specific times – but she goes each time I take her out. Hoping it won’t be long before she goes to the door and barks to let me know she needs to potty. Still and all, she has only pottied in the house a few times since she came home. Has never pottied in her crate – which I think is amazing.

I have enclosed two pictures of Scout.

Just wanted to give you an update on Cassie. This past week we went to Rally Trials and she got her RN title now in rally as well as her BN Title in obedience. We have just gotten our feet wet, there is much more to work toward! I tell everyone that you’ve raised really smart and loving babies! They just want to be near you, getting and giving a lot of loving, such lovers! I can’t say enough about them! Just keep doing what you’re doing, you are doing a great job! Everyone that adopts your babies can always be very proud and happy! I pray all is going well with you and your family, Mindi. We are all fine here in Illinois. We’ll be sure and keep in touch.

Hi Mindi

We have been meaning to send you an update about Sirius – but graduate school, work, and puppy time have been to keeping us busy!

Sirius is such a wonderful addition to our family! He has a playful, affectionate personality, and he loves spending time with his “pack.” Even in the first few weeks, it was obvious he is a quick learner: house training was a cinch and he swiftly picked up on what things he was and was not allowed to chew on – puppy training was much easier than David and I were expecting. Thanks for getting him started out on the right foot (er, paw?).

In the last several months, Sirius has “graduated” from puppy school, gone on many hikes in the California redwoods, and enjoyed countless days romping around the nearby dog parks. He is friendly and playful with other dogs, although I think he prefers human company – he’s a real family dog.

I am about to finish my graduate program and have just been offered a job south of San Francisco, so we are starting to look a new house. Sirius has come with us to a couple open houses (to make sure there is plenty of room to run around).

I wanted to share a couple pictures, as well as to link you to an article I wrote for a local paper on homemade dog treats (which features dear Sirius in a photo). He’s famous!

Check out Saturday (Jeff Saturday) and Eli Manning…our available males from our Super Bowl Litter!

Eli is the smallest and will mature around 20-22 lbs. Saturday, with his jet black hair is stunning and will mature under 25 lbs. These boys are both curly fleece coats and so playful. We have to give a special shout out to their wonderful guardian family- the Clarks- for doing such an amazing job socializing this litter!!!
