Today is the big day for us to take 5 dogs to the Doggie Opthamologist. We have been seeing Dr. Rowley for a number of years. She just moved her practice to Carmel. She and I call it our labradoodle reunion because so many of my guardian dogs come to see her and we all meet at the clinic and have a little party.
Today George, Izzy, Lilly, Kennedy, and Waverly are all visiting the eye doctor. Kyle drove my SUV around with 4 crates (Waverly and Kennedy share) and picked up all of the dogs. It is a sight to be seen. They are all such good travel companions though! They get their eyes dilated and Dr. Rowley gives an intense examination to screen for any current or future problems in our breeding stock. I tease that they have to say which letter is on each line! To be certified in the ILA/ALAA, we must have annual CERF exams. I am so thankful for the wonders of advanced medical care for dogs- it helps insure that we produce healthy pets!
