A few years ago, my husband and I decided to take our six children to Scotland to trace his ancestral history. It was such an amazing experience showing our kids Castle Sween where his ancestors lived and the precious little fishing village and chapel where his family lived, worked, and worshipped. While in Scotland we had many adventures in Edinburgh and Glasgow, we also ventured to the gorgeous Scottish Highlands to visit Lomond Hills Labradoodles. It is located outside the charming town of Cupar in County Fife. We had such a wonderful time visiting with our new friends, The McKinneys. Brenda and her son, Alastair, run their breeding program very similar to ours and we became instant friends. We are a family run breeding program and our children loved meeting another family like ours but now with an adult son. My husband loves everything about his homeland and it was fun to see our two passions of all things Scottish and all things Australian Labradoodle come together!
Rory of Fife came to us in January. He brings a unique pedigree and great health testing to our program and we cannot wait to add this little Gaelic gem to our program! Kyle wrapped his family’s tartan around Rory and we have given him the distinction of being an honorary McMillan!
